Learning that looks
a lot like playing
Weekly playgroup sessions, creative workshops and school-holiday camps — all run by our team, all built around how children actually learn.
A gentle first step
into school life
Our weekday playgroup gives little ones a structured morning away from home — in small groups, with the same familiar faces each week. It is built for the year or two before nursery, when confidence matters more than curriculum.
- Small groups so every child gets attention and a turn.
- A predictable rhythm — welcome circle, active play, craft, story, goodbye song.
- Social skills first — sharing, waiting, joining in, saying goodbye at the door.
- Weekday mornings, with flexible weekly or termly blocks.
Ninety minutes, five parts
The shape stays the same every week. The theme is what changes.
Welcome circle
Names, a hello song and a look at what today is about. It settles the room and marks the start.
Active play
Free run of the play zones with the host joining in — climbing, balancing, chasing, burning it off.
Make something
A craft or sensory activity tied to the week's theme. It always goes home with them.
Snack and sit
Everyone at the table together — a small but real lesson in patience and conversation.
Story and goodbye
A book, a song and a proper goodbye so the ending is never a surprise.
Something new every week
Drop-in creative sessions hosted in the CREATE booth. Themes are announced on Instagram each week.
Art & craft
Painting, collage, clay and seasonal making — messy on purpose, and cleaned up by us.
Sensory play
Textures, water, sand and light for the youngest hands. Calming, absorbing, slightly chaotic.
Little chefs
No-bake cooking sessions where children measure, mix and eat what they made.
Music & movement
Instruments, rhythm games and dancing — the loudest half hour of our week.
Story time
Read-aloud sessions with props and puppets, aimed at the pre-reading age.
Career weeks
Themed weeks where the role-play village becomes a bakery, a clinic or a fire station.
Every school break,
covered
When school stops, the island opens wider. Half-day and full-day camps run through the winter, spring and summer breaks with a different theme each week — so children can come back for more than one and never repeat a day.
- Half-day and full-day options
- A new theme every week of the break
- Craft, active play, games and a supervised lunch break
- Sibling and multi-week rates available
